I work at my local Starbucks and the nephew of one of my co-workers is a helicopter pilot currently serving in Afghanistan. For the past several months we have been sending him coffee which has been donated by other Starbucks partners.
The other day his aunt brought in a great surprise. He sent us an American flag which flew from his helicopter, a certificate of appreciation (signed by all the members of his flight crew with whom he shared the coffee), a picture of himself while in the cockpit on a mission and thank you note. My manager is getting it framed and we will hopefully be able to display it in our shop.
I just wanted to share this really great story!
